Molecular biologist by training, artist at heart.
Sonhita "Son" Chakraborty is a scientist and science illustrator based in Toronto, Canada.
After completing her PhD in Plant Cell Biology, Son worked at Elselvier (Cell Press) as a Scientific Editor and was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Umeå Plant Science Centre. She currently works as a Freelancer Scientific Editor at Life Science Editors.
When she's not working on a illustration project, Son likes to spend her time at the local library, biking around town, travelling to different corners of the world, and enjoying nature.
