Molecular biologist by training, artist at heart.
Sonhita "Son" Chakraborty is a scientist, scientific editor, and science illustrator based in Toronto, Canada.
After completing her PhD in Plant Cell Biology, Son worked at Elselvier (Cell Press) as a Scientific Editor and was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Umeå Plant Science Centre. She currently works as a Scientific Editor and Writer at Life Science Editors.
When she's not working on an illustration project, Son likes to spend her time at the local library, biking around town, travelling to different corners of the world, and enjoying nature.
